Authentic Basque Country’s Humble Beginning
Authentic Basque Country was created in 2021 by Adam Wilkinson. who was inspired to share his love for the Basque region with the world after moving to Bilbao, Biscay from Canada.
Adam set out to explore and share all that the region has to offer. Which, in turn, resulted in the Authentic Basque Country online magazine.
Alongside his young family and his elderly Australian Shepard, the adventure continues. From the medieval square in Vitoria to the French city of Biarritz Authentic Basque Country covers it all. Whether it is Summer in San Sebastian of winter in the Pyrenees Mountains of Navarre we will be there.
